Serving the needs of customers and communities in Texas

The Monument Group’s engagement with Walmart focused on highlighting the tremendous economic and community impacts of the state’s largest private employer. The Monument Group developed content and materials, fact sheets, online advertisements and coordinated the company’s participation in targeted events, such as the annual Texas Tribune Festival. Our efforts promoted the company’s industry-leading initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, sustainability, disaster relief, U.S. manufacturing, fighting hunger, veterans assistance programs, and women’s empowerment.

In addition, The Monument Group branded, launched and managed a coalition-driven campaign of free market advocates and public retailers, including Walmart. A comprehensive campaign about a complex issue that requires significant education of the public and policy makers to generate legislative action, our efforts for the coalition have included developing messages and materials, engaging with the media, recruiting and mobilizing coalition members and third party advocates, coordinating legislative strategy and conducting digital outreach and advertising.
