The Monument Group engaged with Walmart to highlight the tremendous economic and community impacts of the state’s largest private employer. We developed content and materials, fact sheets, digital ads and coordinated the company’s participation in targeted events, such as the annual Texas Tribune Festival. Our efforts promoted the company’s industry-leading initiatives in the areas of healthcare, education, sustainability, disaster relief, U.S. manufacturing, fighting hunger, veteran assistance programs, and women’s empowerment.
We also launched and managed a coalition of free market advocates and retailers, including Walmart, to educate public and policy makers and advocate for a level playing field for the retail sale of spirits. Our efforts for the coalition required developing messages and materials, engaging with the media, recruiting and mobilizing coalition members and third-party advocates, coordinating with a team of lobbyists and conducting digital outreach and advertising.
