The Texas Municipal Police Association (TMPA) represents over 30,000 law enforcement officials across Texas. Established nearly 75 years ago, TMPA is recognized as the voice of Texas law enforcement, advocating for legislation, policy, and governance that empowers police officers to protect the public and themselves effectively.
As a statewide organization in Texas and one of the largest bodies of law enforcement officials, TMPA’s actions and policies often serve as a bellwether for other states.
To establish TMPA as a trusted resource for law enforcement data, The Monument Group launched a microsite to provide policymakers with accurate information on hot-button law enforcement issues. This initiative elevated awareness of the challenges facing law enforcement, including policy, staffing, and recruitment, allowing law enforcement officials to effectively communicate their perspectives during a contentious period for police across the county and state. Our team also generated statewide media coverage for issues critical to Texas law enforcement.
