Lauren Brown is a strategic communications and public affairs professional with 15 years of experience helping organizations navigate complex issues, build stakeholder support, and achieve business and policy objectives.
As a Director at The Monument Group, Lauren leads integrated communications campaigns with expertise in advocacy communications, media relations, grassroots engagement, stakeholder outreach, and message development. Since joining the firm in 2012, she has advised clients across numerous industries, including healthcare, transportation, technology, banking, real estate, retail, energy, and defense. Known for translating complex issues into clear, compelling narratives, Lauren helps clients navigate high-profile initiatives, strengthen reputations, and build support among communities, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Prior to joining The Monument Group, Lauren held positions with ESPN and Texas 4000 for Cancer. She is a proud Austinite and graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. She also serves as a NICU peer mentor and communications advisor for Hand to Hold, a national nonprofit providing early intervention mental health support before, during, and after a NICU stay.
